Dr. Yanis graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 2001. He is certified in acupuncture, has 300+ hours of course work in nutrition through the Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition, and was certified as a sports practitioner in 2006. Before joining Baytown Back Pain, Dr. Yanis was the official Houston Dynamo Team Chiropractor for four years. He was a part of the chiropractic team that exclusively worked with the Houston Astros and Houston Texans professional athletes and was also chosen to be a Team USA Chiropractor for the USA v. Manchester United soccer game in 2010. Outside of work, Dr. Yanis enjoys spending his time with his wife and 3 beautiful daughters.
Dr. Davis, the newest member of our chiropractic team, graduated from TCC with a Bachelor’s of science and a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016. She became interested in Chiropractic at a young age when she was barrel racing and had an equine Chiropractor work on her horse. Seeing the results of chiropractic first hand excited her interest in this career path. Outside of work, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her family and her blue lacy as well as hunting and fishing on the weekends.
Dr. Terry Moore, owner of Baytown Back Pain, has 30+ years of chiropractic experience. In 1979 he received his Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University while on a basketball scholarship. He then continued his education at Texas Chiropractic College, graduating in 1986 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He has completed numerous continuing education hours in sports injuries and soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Moore established Baytown Back Pain with Dr. James Golden in 1993. Dr. Moore has served as chairman of the Texas Chiropractic Association Labor Relations Committee, member of the Texas Chiropractic Association Worker’s Compensation Committee, and is a past board regent for Texas Chiropractic College.
Dr. Moore loves working with all patients, but especially the elderly. He spends his time away from the office with his family or tending to his cattle and chicken farms.
Dr. Kuykendall is a lifelong Texas resident and a 1989 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College.having practiced in Baytown, Deer Park, and Pasadena since 1990. He has been working with Baytown Back Pain and Health Center since its inception in 1993. In past years Dr. Kuykendall (Dr. K) has served as Designated Doctor for Texas Workers’ Comp, been certified in low back injury prevention by The American Red Cross, and performed thousands of DOT and student athlete physicals as a contract doctor for local medical groups.
At age 16 he had spinal instrumentation (Harrington Rod) back surgery for scoliosis. Dr. K has spent much of his life learning, understanding, and prescribing effective treatment for back, neck, and joint pain. His outside activities include music, fishing, outdoor recreation, and expert witness testimony for accident and injury cases. “Doc Steve” is the long time and present emcee for the Pasadena Home Town Opry and regularly performs with the Detour Band for local senior dances and various festivities.
